The Cleveland Yachting Club

  • Haven Media manages social media for the 2026 Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series, working alongside Walter Cooper Photography and Outside Images to create and coordinate content that elevates and markets the event.

  • Since 2024, Haven Media has managed the Lightning Class social media, leading creative direction, marketing campaigns, website development, and design. Haven also provides event photography and video, supports international communications and fundraising efforts, and oversees event coordination, public relations, and overall media strategy.

  • As part of the Social Nomad Media team, Carly supports client accounts through social media management, video editing, and creative execution, while contributing to analytics, design, and communications.

  • At Harken, Inc., Carly served as Blockhead Brand Manager, leading creative direction, content strategy, and cross-platform marketing while helping revamp the brand’s youth sailing initiative.

  • Haven Media provided event photography for the regatta, which also served as I-LYA Traveler Series #6 at Mentor Harbor Yacht Club, delivering a full gallery covering both the clinic and racing.

  • The 2025 Charleston Race Week at Patriots Point was an opportunity to learn from the best—watching photographers and videographers at work, understanding the behind-the-scenes operations of an event, and gaining insight into event communications.

  • As part of Gamecock Athletics Marketing, Carly executed game-day promotions and fan engagement initiatives across multiple sports, enhancing the in-game experience through strategic activation and event execution.

  • Becoming Director of Administration and Marketing at the Cleveland Yachting Club was a full-circle experience, returning to the program where I grew up sailing. In this role, I led curriculum development, staff management, event planning, design, photography, and overall program logistics while giving back to a community that shaped my passion for the sport.
