No blinds. Birds chirping. Wake up. Walk the beach. Breakfast on the lawn with sandy feet. Head out for a sail. A packed lunch to eat on the water. Swim for a while. Maybe a water sport if the afternoon calls for it. Shower off. Dinner at Grandma Carol’s. Dads are grilling. Corn hole in the back. Peanut butter cookies for dessert. Then back to the boathouse to catch the sunset. Pit-stop at the Pirates Den. Bonfire on the beach. Fall asleep knowing we’ll do it all again tomorrow.

This isn’t just summer. It’s years of family memories. Sleepovers and reunions. Regattas and long weekends. Traditions we don’t even think about anymore because they’re just part of us.

This is our beach. This is our home.

And I’m lucky to both live it and capture it.
