Meet Carly!
Haven Media
Carly is a senior at the University of South Carolina, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Sports Media. Growing up on Lake Erie, her fondest memories revolve around time spent with friends, sailing, boating, and summers at camp—experiences that fostered a deep appreciation for the environment and the strong sense of community found on the water.
Over time, this passion evolved into a drive to grow youth sailing programs, capture meaningful moments, and turn her favorite hobbies into fulfilling work.
Through experiences with The Cleveland Yachting Club and the International Lightning Class Association, Carly has expanded her creativity, strengthened her leadership skills, and gained valuable experience managing social media accounts.
She has continued to develop within the industry through internships with the Gamecock Athletics Marketing Department and the Charleston Race Week Media Team. Currently, Carly works with the Lightning Class and Social Nomad Media, and recently managed social media for Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series - St Petersburg.
Carly is enthusiastic about creating meaningful, unique content and is eager to apply her passion and experience to new opportunities.
